Jizzakh Auto rolls out new ambulances for Uzbekistan's medical emergency branches
The emergency medical service fleet has been filled with 70 new class "A" vehicles.
The Jizzakh Auto production line has rolled off the latest batch of vehicles designated for the "103" service. It is noted that 70 new ambulance vehicles were distributed to the healthcare system as part of an agreement signed by the Ministry of Health and the Jizzakh Automobile Plant.
The new vehicles will be allocated to branches of the Republican Emergency Medical Center in the Jizzakh, Samarkand, Fergana, and Tashkent regions, as well as the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The Ministry of Health highlighted that last year the fleet of the Republican Center for Emergency Medical Aid was replenished with 685 domestically produced Volkswagen Caddy vehicles. In February of this year, territorial divisions received an additional 30 service vehicles.
