The Center for the Safety of Pharmaceutical Products has published a list of 19 types of laxatives that are banned in Uzbekistan, but are sold online. It has been found out that they contain the powerful substance sibutramine.
The state institution of the Center for the Safety of Pharmaceutical Products under the Ministry of Health published a list of stimulants prohibited for sale in the territory of Uzbekistan.
It is noted that the sale and storage of the following products in the territory of Uzbekistan is prohibited: Reborn Ultimate, Lipotrim Ultra, Seksualnaya figura, Al-Sheikh, Fatzorb, Fatzorb Ultra, Fatzorb Plus, Spirulina, Arabic, Reduksin Light, Code S, Safran diet, Gold Puma, Blokator jira, Hot pepper, Fermentaize, Lipoksin dlya poxudeniya, Kuaymyy Extra, Slim ultra (Samyun Wan).
It was identified that these products, which entered the territory of Uzbekistan illegally and were confiscated as material evidence during the operational activities carried out by law enforcement agencies, contain the substance sibutramine.
This substance is included in the list of powerful substances approved by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers “On regulating the circulation of powerful substances in the Republic of Uzbekistan”. The above 19 types of products containing sibutramine are not state registered as medicinal products in Uzbekistan.
The center reminded that criminal liability is established for violating the rules of production, acquisition, storage, accounting, giving, transportation or sending of powerful or toxic substances.
Earlier, it was found out that uncertified series of Bar-VIPS drug was put on sale in Uzbekistan.
