37 people were injured in a gas cylinder explosion in Kashkadarya
In the Kukdala district of Kashkadarya region, a gas cylinder exploded during a mass festive event, the press service of the regional prosecutor's office reported.
According to the Kashkadarya News Telegram channel, the incident occurred in the Tukmor mahalla. A 20-liter cylinder was connected to a gas stove on which fish was fried.
According to the department, 37 people received injuries of varying severity and were hospitalized. 7 people remain in the hospital, the condition of 17 people is satisfactory, they were provided first aid and prescribed outpatient treatment. Another 13 people were examined and released home because they were not seriously injured.
The Kukdala district prosecutor's office opened a criminal case under Article 207-2 (official negligence resulting in the infliction of moderate or serious bodily injury).
