AFC U23 Asian Cup: Uzbekistan beats Malaysia in group stage match (2:0)
In the first round of the U23 Asian Cup underway in Qatar, the Uzbekistan Olympic team faced off against Malaysia.
In the match held at the Khalifa Stadium in Doha, Jasur Jaloliddinov opened the score with a penalty at the 10th minute, and substitute Ulugbek Hoshimov secured the second goal for the team in the 83rd minute – ending the game with a score of 2:0.
Thus, Timur Kapadze’s team started the tournament with a victory. In the second game of the group, Vietnam will play against Kuwait today.
