Tashkent hosts political consultations between Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Russia
On April 26, Tashkent hosted the next round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Russia.
According to the MFA, the delegations were headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, Bobur Usmanov, and the Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, Mikhail Galuzin.
The parties exchanged views on current issues of Uzbek-Russian relations regarding strategic partnerships and alliances in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian, and other spheres.
The progress in implementing previously reached agreements and the schedule of upcoming joint events at various levels were thoroughly reviewed.
The sides noted their commitment to continue the dialogue within the framework of international and regional institutions.
Other issues on the Uzbek-Russian agenda were also discussed at the meeting.
