Qatar Development Fund to aid in Uzbekistan’s social protection initiatives

At the beginning of the meeting, the ambassador expressed gratitude to the Qatari side for participating in the Bibi-Khanym Mosque reconstruction project in Samarkand, which was carried out in cooperation with the fund.

The parties discussed the development of projects in the fields of education, healthcare, and economic opportunity expansion.

Sultan Al-Asiri expressed readiness to implement new projects with the Uzbek side.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the Fund's involvement as a foreign partner in the extensive social protection work conducted in Uzbekistan.
