CAMCE to build first waste incineration power plant in Uzbekistan
The Chinese company also plans to build a cable car in the Samarkand region.

The Chinese company China CAMC Engineering Co Ltd intends to build the first waste incineration plant in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Environment reports.
On Thursday, May 2, Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change Aziz Abdukhakimov and Chairman of the Chinese company China CAMC Engineering Wang Bo signed a memorandum of cooperation on a project to build a waste incineration power plant in the republic.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to send a Chinese expert group to study and organize work in the field of waste management in the republic, as well as to develop an initial design of the plant for presentation to the top leadership of Uzbekistan.
In addition, China CAMC Engineering is considering the possibility of implementing a project in the field of eco-tourism, planning to study the prospects for the construction of a new cable car in the mountains of the Samarkand region.
In the past, the Chinese company was engaged in the construction of cable cars in Charvak, Tashkent region, and Kitab, Kashkadarya region.
