Uzbekistan's tourism outbound: Top countries revealed

From January to March 2024, nearly 1.3 million citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism purposes. According to the Statistics Agency, the figure is up by 365.6 thousand people or 40.7 percent compared to the same period last year.

In the ranking of countries most visited by Uzbekistanis for tourism purposes, Kyrgyzstan holds the top spot with 559.1 thousand visitors.

The distribution for the remaining countries is as follows:

- Tajikistan — 260.8 thousand people;
- Kazakhstan — 184.1 thousand people;
- Saudi Arabia — 70.6 thousand people;
- Russia — 50.3 thousand people;
- UAE — 38.5 thousand people;
- Turkey — 34.4 thousand people;
- Kuwait — 13.8 thousand people;
- Egypt — 8.2 thousand people;
- Thailand — 6.2 thousand people;
- Other countries — 37.1 thousand people.
