At the Embassy of our country in Beijing, as part of a trip to China by a delegation headed by the governor of the Jizzakh region, Ergash Saliev, a presentation was held on the trade-economic, investment and tourism potential of the region.
The event was attended by representatives of more than 100 Chinese companies, trade, economic and tourism associations.
The participants were familiarized with information about the ongoing large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan, economic and investment opportunities in the Jizzakh region. The trade and economic attractiveness of the region, tourism potential, as well as favorable conditions and advantages created for foreign investors were revealed. An exchange of ideas took place on the development of new tourist destinations.
In his speech, regional governor Ergash Saliev called on Chinese companies to widely use the opportunities created in free economic and industrial zones in the Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan and jointly implement new investment projects.
It was noted that in recent years, multilateral cooperation between the business circles of the two countries has been expanding; Chinese companies are very interested in working in the market of our country.
Also, during the forum, representatives of the region answered questions from Chinese businessmen. Then negotiations took place between business representatives of Uzbekistan and China in B2B and G2B formats.
During the narrow meetings held within the framework of the forum, agreements were reached on the implementation of mutually beneficial projects in various fields. Documents on establishing cooperation were signed.

We also agreed to regularly hold forums dedicated to the investment, trade-economic and tourism potential of the Jizzakh region in China.

We are pleased to invest in Uzbekistan and implement large projects. We got acquainted with the free economic and industrial zones of the Jizzakh region, where all conditions have been created for foreign investors.
In the future, we plan to invest in other areas of production in the Jizzakh region.
