Shavkat Mirziyoyev receives US delegation
The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received the United States Trade Representative, Katherine Tai, on June 11.

The US official delivered greetings and best wishes from President Joe Biden to the leader of Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of further strengthening bilateral strategic partnership relations and expanding trade-economic and investment cooperation.
The sides noted the increase in business relations, as well as the stable growth of mutual trade turnover and investment indicators.
Cooperative relations are developing with leading US companies and banks, including Air Products, Coca-Cola, Citibank, Visa, and many others.
Topics reviewed included Uzbekistan's ongoing efforts for accession to the World Trade Organization, the restoration of the GSP system, deepening practical cooperation within the C5+1 format, as well as the Trade and Investment Framework Agreement.
The parties stressed the importance of launching a joint platform to identify new areas for industrial cooperation and promote relevant projects.
