Asia Alliance Bank denies rumors about suspension of operations with Russia
The private Asia Alliance Bank called a mistake its message about the suspension of foreign exchange transactions with Russian residents due to a new package of US sanctions.
“The bank continues to service transactions of clients associated with residents of the Russian Federation in the manner prescribed by law,” the statement says.
Earlier, the bank’s Telegram channel reported that due to the update of the US sanctions package, all currency transactions related to Russian residents were suspended. Customers were asked to wait for “further announcements regarding the resumption of payments”.
