A presidential decree “On measures to maintain roads and road infrastructure in good condition and improve existing mechanisms for landscaping territories” was adopted. In accordance with the document, persons who actively assisted in identifying violations of construction and repair work on a road facility (work without obtaining permission or in case of failure to fulfill the obligation to restore the previous condition of the road facility) will be awarded a reward in the amount of 50% of the fine collected.
In order to improve the external appearance of the regions, the following measures will be implemented as an experiment from September 1, 2024 to September 1, 2025 in a specific territory determined by local governors:
• organizing clarification by mahalla chairmen through the media and social networks of the responsibilities of citizens and legal entities to improve the territories adjacent to their buildings and structures;
• approval of the landscape layout of the courtyard and surroundings of multi-storey buildings, roads and street sides;
• approval of a program for landscaping empty lands along the sides of roads and streets.
