Salesperson sentenced to 15 days for slapping 12-year-old boy requesting QR-code receipt

A salesperson who hit a 12-year-old boy in a store in Gulistan, Syrdarya region, was sentenced to 15 days in jail, according to the Children's Ombudsman Surayyo Rahmonova.
It was noted that on July 22, the Gulistan city court found him guilty of committing an offense under Article 183 (Minor Hooliganism) of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
Previously, a video showing the store clerk using violence against the child, including slapping him in the face, had circulated on social media.
According to the boy's mother, the salesperson insulted her son and slapped him several times for asking for a QR-code receipt.
Subsequently, an administrative case was opened against the salesperson.
