Tashkent hosts Uzbek-Azerbaijani inter-MFA political consultations
Today, another round of political consultations was held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
According to the MFA, the parties conducted a thorough review of bilateral relations, discussed the progress of the agreements reached at the highest level, and agreed on a schedule of upcoming events.
The need to continue close coordination between the foreign ministries to ensure the implementation of joint projects in the trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres was especially emphasized.
The importance of further expanding the legal framework of relations, taking into account developing ties in all areas, was noted.
The focus of special attention was on strengthening interaction within the framework of multilateral structures, primarily the UN and the Organization of Turkic States.
The parties also exchanged views on current international and regional issues.
