CNG filling station in Tashkent embezzles gas worth 2.6 billion UZS

In the Uchtepa district of Tashkent, law enforcement officers found a CNG filling station that embezzled natural gas worth 2.6 billion UZS, the Prosecutor General's Office reported.

During the control activities, it was revealed that the director of P.A.G. LLC and other workers at this gas filling station altered the gas meter.
The suspects have been detained and a criminal case has been opened under paragraph (a) of Part 4 of Article 169 (large-scale theft).

Earlier, SSS officers, together with the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, detained the chief engineer of the Urta Chirchik district gas supply company while receiving a bribe of $8,500.
