FIFA World Cup 26: Uzbekistan national football team beats North Korea

The only goal in the first group qualifying match for the 2026 FIFA World Cup was scored by Jaloliddin Masharipov.

The Uzbekistan national football team played the first match of the group tournament of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification against the DPR Korea national team at the Bunyodkor stadium in Tashkent.

Our players had the advantage and created a number of scoring chances. However, they managed to realize the advantage only once. Jaloliddin Masharipov scored the goal in the 20th minute.

Our players will play their next game in the group on September 10 away against the Kyrgyzstan national team.
