Japan sees Uzbekistan as key strategic partner for peace and development in Central Asia
The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Japan, Mukhsinkhuja Abdurakhmanov, held talks with Hiroshi Moriya, Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary and member of Japan’s House of Councillors.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for strengthening cooperation in trade, economic, education, and tourism sectors, as well as in labor migration.
The Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary also noted that Japan views Uzbekistan as a strategic partner in ensuring peace and sustainable development in Central Asia.
“We are interested in developing broad cooperation based on mutual trust with your country,” said Hiroshi Moriya.
