Four people confirmed dead in Boysun gas field accident
The press secretary for the President, Sherzod Asadov, confirmed to Gazeta.uz that the identities of the four individuals who died in the recent Boysun gas field accident have been clarified. It was revealed that they were employees of a contracting organization working at the site. The exact number of injured is still being determined.

The accident, which occurred on September 17 at the "25th Anniversary of Independence" gas field in Boysun district, Surkhandarya, resulted in four fatalities. This information was reported by Gazeta.uz, quoting Sherzod Asadov.
Asadov noted that several people sought medical assistance following the incident. However, not all required hospitalization. As of 4:00 PM, only one worker remained in the hospital.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was immediately informed of the incident. He has issued instructions and is receiving real-time updates on the situation.
Leaders of relevant ministries and organizations have arrived at the site to assess the situation, and foreign specialists have been brought in to assist with the aftermath of the accident.
A press conference is scheduled for 6:00 PM on September 18 at the "M25" gas field in Boysun district. The Ministers of Emergency Situations and Energy are expected to provide additional details.
It should be noted that during a separate meeting with the media at the AIMC (Agency for Information and Mass Communications), representatives from the Ministry of Ecology and the Prosecutor General's Office confirmed that this incident marks a recurrence of similar disasters at the gas field.
