Uzbekistan and China forge cooperation in environmental protection
The President of Uzbekistan has approved a decision to confirm an international agreement on environmental protection cooperation between Uzbekistan and the People's Republic of China.
The agreement was signed on January 24, 2024, in Beijing and aims to enhance collaborative efforts in preserving the environment and addressing climate change.
The Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change has been designated as the responsible authority for implementing this international agreement.
Following the agreement's entry into force, the Cabinet of Ministers and the heads of relevant ministries and agencies will ensure that the provisions of the agreement are monitored and adhered to in accordance with established procedures.
