Salaries, pensions, and allowances increased in Uzbekistan
Starting from October 1, salaries for teachers and doctors in Uzbekistan have been raised by 15%, while other public sector employees will see a 10% increase in their wages.
The government has also adjusted several other payments, reflecting an ongoing commitment to improving the financial well-being of citizens.
Here are the updated payment rates:
• Basic calculation unit: 375,000 UZS
• Minimum wage: 1,155,000 UZS
• Basic pension calculation amount: 428,000 UZS
• Minimum age-related pension: 834,000 UZS
• Minimum disability pension (including those with incomplete work experience): 920,000 UZS
• Disability benefits for individuals unable to work and allowances for those with childhood disabilities: 920,000 UZS
• Allowances for elderly citizens without sufficient work experience: 745,000 UZS
• Minimum age-related pension for those with incomplete work experience (including additional payments): 745,000 UZS
These increases aim to further support vulnerable populations and reward key public sector workers for their contributions.
