Uzbekistan’s national hockey team to compete in World Championship
The Uzbekistan national ice hockey team is set to make its debut in the 2025 Ice Hockey World Championship, according to the Uzbekistan Ice Hockey Federation.
The team will compete in Division IV of the tournament, with matches scheduled to take place in Armenia from April 13 to April 19.
Uzbekistan will face teams from Armenia, Iran, Kuwait, Malaysia, and Indonesia in the division.
In addition to the senior team, Uzbekistan's U18 team will also make its debut in international competition. They will compete in Group III of Division III, with matches scheduled to be held in Bangkok from February 28 to March 6.
The junior team will face opponents from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkmenistan, Thailand, South Africa, and Luxembourg.
