The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations has announced an extension for the tuition payment deadline for first-year bachelor’s and master’s students until December 1, 2024. This decision, confirmed by the State Commission’s directive, applies to students admitted in the 2024/2025 academic year.
The extension benefits several categories of first-year students: those enrolled under basic or differentiated (super) contract terms, applicants from Karakalpakstan admitted through additional quotas under Presidential Decree No. PF-213, and students who have transferred or been reinstated.
Under the new arrangement, students accepted within admission quotas must pay at least 25% of their annual tuition cost if enrolled under the basic contract. Students opting for differentiated contract terms must cover a minimum of 50% of the specified annual tuition cost by the extended deadline.
For second-year and higher students, tuition payment extensions may still be granted at the discretion of their university administration.
