New train service to be launched between Tashkent and Bukhara

A new diesel train service between Tashkent and Bukhara is set to begin operations soon. The train will cover a distance of 592 kilometers in approximately six hours, offering passengers a comfortable and efficient travel option. This new route marks an important milestone as it coincides with the upcoming 33rd anniversary of the Constitution of Uzbekistan, highlighting the country's commitment to modernizing its transport infrastructure.

The train, developed under a partnership between the "Tashkent Passenger Carriage Construction and Repair Plant" JSC and "Uztemiryulyulovchi" JSC, boasts an impressive array of features. Its composition includes 12 carriages: 2 VIP, 4 business class, 4 economy class, 1 restaurant, and 1 diesel engine carriage. The business class seats can be adjusted according to the travel route, providing passengers with additional comfort and flexibility.

One of the standout features of the new carriages is their enhanced cooling system, which continues to operate even when the train is stationary. This unique aspect offers passengers a consistent and pleasant climate during their journey, an improvement over previous models.

Currently, the diesel train is undergoing final testing on the Tashkent-Bukhara route. Once the trials are completed, the service will be launched for public use in the coming days, promising a blend of modern design, convenience, and reliable performance.
