Iranian trade delegation visits Uzbekistan for bilateral meetings and business forum
A high-level delegation of business representatives, led by the governor of Iran’s Razavi Khorasan Province, Gholam Hossein Mozaffari, arrived in Uzbekistan today.
Organized at the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Iran, the business mission will run until March 1, bringing together executives from leading companies across various sectors, including construction, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, textiles, agriculture, and food production.
During the visit, the governor of Razavi Khorasan is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with the governors of Samarkand and Bukhara provinces. Additionally, a business forum will be held with the participation of the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and representatives from prominent companies.
Razavi Khorasan Province, located in northeastern Iran, is home to Mashhad, the country’s second-most populous city and a major religious and economic hub. The province shares a border with Turkmenistan, connecting Iran to Central Asia and serving as a key gateway for trade and cultural exchange.
