Shavkat Mirziyoyev has directed the Cabinet of Ministers to postpone the implementation of new electricity and gas tariffs to ensure the reliable supply of fuel and energy resources to the population, economic sectors, and business entities. The decision also aims to provide support to both citizens and businesses.
According to the Ministry of Energy, the new tariffs will take effect on May 1 instead of April 1 as initially planned.
Relevant amendments will be introduced to the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution dated April 16, 2024.
