Uzbekistan’s population increasing by an average of 1,700 people per day – Statistics Committee
According to the National Statistics Committee, as of April 1, 2025, the country’s permanent population had reached 37.7 million. This represents a 2% increase compared to the same period last year.

The breakdown is as follows:
• Number of women: 18.7149 million
• Number of men: 18.9829 million
• Urban population: 19.2164 million
• Rural population: 18.4814 million
Since the beginning of 2025, the population has increased by 154.6 thousand people. On average, Uzbekistan’s population has grown by 51.5 thousand people per month in 2025, which equates to a daily increase of approximately 1,700 people.
