Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni arrives in Samarkand for official visit
At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni arrived in Samarkand on May 28 for an official visit.
PM Meloni was welcomed at Samarkand International Airport by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev himself.
In honor of the high-ranking guest, the national flags of both countries were raised and an honor guard was lined up.
The main events of the visit are scheduled for tomorrow, May 29. High-level talks and a number of other bilateral meetings and events are expected to take place.
