A solemn ceremony took place at the International Congress Center in Tashkent, where young people were honored with the “Kelajak bunyodkori” (“Builder of the Future”) medal and the “Mard o‘g‘lon” (“Brave Son”) award. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev personally presented the awards and engaged in discussions with the youth about initiatives in education, startups, and employment.
At the beginning of his speech, the Head of State congratulated the young men and women on the occasion. He proposed important initiatives aimed at improving the quality of children’s education, preparing them for admission to foreign universities, supporting startups and youth initiatives, as well as ensuring employment opportunities. An open dialogue with the youth took place during the meeting.
Following this, Shavkat Mirziyoyev personally handed out the state awards to the youth.
“Actions taken in youth are the key to success in the future. A friend gained in youth becomes a partner and support for life. Never forget: a nation and a state whose children are educated, healthy, courageous, and purposeful will undoubtedly have a bright future. I wish for all the youth of Uzbekistan to possess these very qualities,” he said.
The award recipients expressed their sincere gratitude for the opportunities created by the state and emphasized their determination to achieve even greater success and justify the trust of the people.
Representatives of government and public organizations, intellectuals, and parents also took part in the event.
