Two top officials resign from PGO’s Economic Crimes Department
Inoyat Shukurov, the First Deputy Head of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General’s Office, and Muhammadjon Ruzmatov, Head of the Tashkent City Directorate of the same department, have been relieved of their posts at their own request.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office press service, a series of personnel changes were implemented on 1 August following orders issued by Prosecutor General Nigmatilla Yuldashev.
Specifically, Inoyat Shukurov, a Senior Adviser of Justice, was dismissed from his position as First Deputy Head of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes based on his voluntary resignation. He was also discharged from the department altogether.
Likewise, Muhammadjon Ruzmatov, also a Senior Adviser of Justice, was released from his duties as Head of the department’s Tashkent City Directorate following his own request. He too was removed from the department system.
Earlier, it was reported that Shokhrukh Aminov, who had been serving as Deputy Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan, was appointed Prosecutor of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
On 22 July this year, Alijon Abdullayev, Head of the Human Resources Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office and a Senior Adviser of Justice, was also dismissed upon request.
