Turkish company to fund 8 km metro line to New Tashkent
As part of a $110 million project, a metro line will be built to New Tashkent, which is expected to serve up to 230,000 passengers per day.
According to the New Tashkent Construction Directorate, the metro line is scheduled for completion by the end of next year. The line will be 8 km long, starting from the “Dustlik” metro station and featuring three stations.
The total cost of the project is estimated at $110 million, of which $11 million is planned to be used in 2025 and the remaining $99 million in 2026.
The investor for the construction is the Turkish company Hvav Yapi Sanayi Ve Tic. A.S.
