Russia's new ambassador presents copies of credentials to FM Saidov
Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov has received copies of the credentials of Alexey Yerkhov, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Uzbekistan.
Following the ceremony, the sides held a substantive exchange of views on strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries.
“We hope for close cooperation in advancing the bilateral agenda and expanding interaction in all areas,” Saidov emphasized.
The minister wished the ambassador further success in his important diplomatic mission and productive work in Uzbekistan.
Alexey Yerkhov replaces Oleg Malginov, who served as Russia’s ambassador to Uzbekistan since 2021.
