Uzbekistan establishes diplomatic relations with Kenya
Uzbekistan has established diplomatic relations with Kenya. The communiqué was signed on Friday in New York by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov and Kenya’s Prime Cabinet Secretary, Minister of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi.
“Kenya is demonstrating impressive progress as one of Africa’s most rapidly developing economies and a hub of technology and innovation,” Saidov noted after the signing ceremony.
“We discussed a wide range of opportunities for fruitful cooperation that will bring tangible benefits to the peoples of both countries,” he added.

Kenya has become the 163rd country with which Uzbekistan has established diplomatic relations.
