Shavkat Mirziyoyev to visit Azerbaijan
The President of Uzbekistan will attend the upcoming summit of the Organization of Turkic States.

At the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Azerbaijan on October 6–7.
The president will take part in the next summit of the Organization of Turkic States, which will be held in the city of Gabala.
The meeting, themed “Regional Peace and Security,” will focus on key issues of further developing and expanding multilateral cooperation within the organization.
Discussions will address prospects for practical cooperation in such priority areas as politics, trade and economy, innovation, investment, energy, transport and communications, as well as humanitarian affairs.
Heads of delegations will also exchange views on important aspects of international politics.
At the conclusion of the summit, a number of joint decisions and documents aimed at further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation among member states are expected to be adopted.
