Travel from Uzbekistan to Europe up 38% in 2025

Demand for trips from Uzbekistan to Europe has grown significantly since the start of 2025, Spot reported with reference to Aviasales Uzbekistan.

In the first nine months of the year, the number of flight bookings from Uzbekistan to European destinations increased by 38%. The average duration of trips reached 19 days, while the share of family travel involving children rose by 7%. At the same time, the average ticket price dropped by 6.6%.

The most popular destinations included Riga, Frankfurt, Vilnius, Berlin, Warsaw, Munich, Vienna, Paris, Budapest, and Prague. Nearly half of all bookings accounted for the top five cities.

Aviasales Uzbekistan reported a particularly sharp rise in demand for trips to Riga and Vilnius, where bookings grew by 63% and 39%, respectively.

Analysts noted that the Baltic states attract not only tourists but also labor migrants. According to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, remittances from the Baltic countries – Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia – increased by 65.6% year-on-year in the April–June period.

“We associate the growing interest in Riga and Vilnius not only with tourism. More of our users are flying or moving there for work, study, or to reunite with their families,” said Ruslan Bayganurov, country manager of Aviasales in Uzbekistan.

Paris remains the most expensive destination, showing a notable rise in family bookings. Germany leads in overall bookings, while interest among Uzbek travelers is growing fastest toward Eastern Europe and the Baltic states.
