Competing in the 110 kg weight category, Djuraev secured gold medals in all disciplines. He set a world record in the snatch with a lift of 196 kg.
In the clean and jerk, Djuraev lifted 232 kg, dominating the field once again. With a combined total of 428 kg, he claimed first place in all events, earning three gold medals overall. This marks his third world championship title, following victories in Tashkent in 2021 and Riyadh in 2023.
Notably, Djuraev attempted 245 kg in his third clean and jerk lift but failed to complete it. Had he succeeded, he would have set world records in all disciplines.
Another Uzbek weightlifter, Ruslan Nuriddinov, also competed in the same category. He finished fourth in the snatch with 186 kg and third in the clean and jerk with 228 kg, earning two bronze medals in the clean and jerk and total categories.
