Mirziyoyev, Aliyev discuss strengthening practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan
On November 15, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the seventh Consultative Meeting of Central Asian heads of state.
At the meeting, the parties discussed strengthening Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan strategic partnership and alliance, including implementation of agreements reached during President Mirziyoyev’s state visit to Azerbaijan in July this year.

The sides noted that exchanges between the two countries continue to be productive at all levels. Since the beginning of the year, bilateral trade has grown by 15 percent. Joint projects in industrial cooperation, including automotive manufacturing, energy, tourism, and other sectors, are actively underway.

The presidents also reviewed the schedule of upcoming high-level meetings and events, underscoring the commitment to expanding practical cooperation and deepening bilateral ties.
