Uzbekistan sends another humanitarian aid shipment to Afghanistan
Uzbekistan has delivered another shipment of humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan, with a total weight of nearly 400 tons.
The humanitarian cargo includes food supplies, medicines, and various types of medical equipment.
A handover ceremony for the latest batch of humanitarian aid from the leadership of Uzbekistan to the Afghan people took place on December 29 in Hairatan, Balkh province, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
The shipment, with a total weight of around 390 tons, was assembled at the Termez Cargo Centre. It consists of food products, medicines, and a range of medical equipment.
The governor of Balkh province expressed particular gratitude to Shavkat Mirziyoyev for Uzbekistan’s continued support and care for the people of Afghanistan.
It was noted that this is the fourth humanitarian aid shipment sent to the people of Afghanistan this year.
