Shavkat Mirziyoyev to visit Turkey for the Strategic Cooperation Council meeting
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Turkey on January 29 at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
During the visit, the two leaders are scheduled to co-chair the fourth meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council in Ankara. The discussions will focus on expanding the broad strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkey, according to the presidential press service.
Key topics on the agenda include strengthening political dialogue, increasing trade, advancing cooperation projects in priority economic sectors, and enhancing transport connectivity between the two countries. Cultural and humanitarian exchanges will also be addressed, alongside discussions of pressing international and regional issues.
The high-level talks are expected to conclude with the signing of a substantial set of agreements. In addition, both leaders will participate in a series of joint events during the visit.
