$30 million home appliance project to be launched in Ohangaron with UAE partner
Home appliances will be manufactured in Ohangaron district of Tashkent region in cooperation with a company from the United Arab Emirates, as President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the project during his visit to the area on 13 February.
According to the presidential press service, the project is being implemented by Premier in partnership with Fajr Al Mustaqbal General Trading. The facility is being developed on a 10-hectare site with a total investment of $30 million.
The project is expected to create 250 new jobs and generate $4 million in exports. Construction is currently 95% complete, with $11.3 million in investments already utilized.
Products manufactured at the enterprise will be exported to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan and Russia.


Currently, there are two similar enterprises operating in Uzbekistan and four across Central Asia. Among them, the Ohangaron project ranks second in terms of production capacity. Once fully operational, the complex is expected to manufacture import-substituting products worth $87 million.
During the visit, President Mirziyoyev reviewed the production process and assessed the quality of the products, speaking with specialists and workers at the site.
A development program for 2026–2027 was presented at the facility. The president also viewed an exhibition of products manufactured by domestic electrical engineering enterprises.
