Beeline Uzbekistan attributes late-night "ghost calls" to service glitches
Mobile operator Beeline Uzbekistan has provided a clarification regarding reports of unexpected late-night calls originating from subscriber numbers. Following numerous complaints shared by users on social media, the company explained that the phenomenon was not a breach of security or a general network failure, but rather a delay in the processing of certain service functions.

In response to inquiries from the press, the operator’s spokesperson stated that technical specifics within one of the network services caused some calls to be delivered with a delay of several hours. In other instances, calls were interrupted prematurely. Despite these anomalies, Beeline emphasized that there were no widespread outages or interruptions in basic connectivity, and communication services remained active throughout the period.
According to a statement on the company's website, these temporary disruptions are linked to ongoing technical work. The operator is currently updating its infrastructure and transitioning to a new billing system. Beeline assured its customers that all services would be restored to full functionality once these technical upgrades are finalized.
The operator had previously notified the public in late March regarding the planned migration to this new billing system, which is aimed at improving long-term service delivery despite the current short-term technical adjustments.
