The delegations were led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov and Deputy Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Singapore Kevin Cheok.

During the meeting, the officials conducted a comprehensive review of the current state and future prospects of political and diplomatic cooperation. Significant emphasis was placed on intensifying interaction within the trade and investment spheres, expanding educational and cultural-humanitarian ties, and deepening dialogue within the framework of international organizations.

Both parties noted with satisfaction the high intensity of contacts at various levels and the ongoing diversification of mutual trade. They highlighted the successful implementation of joint investment projects across the food and chemical industries, as well as in the agricultural sector. To further strengthen these ties, agreements were reached to activate exchanges in education and personnel training, alongside measures to increase mutual tourism flows.

Kevin Cheok emphasized that Singaporean political and business circles are following the scale of reforms in Uzbekistan with great interest. He noted that these initiatives are contributing significantly to national economic growth and the strengthening of the country's international standing.

The parties discussed strategies to use the untapped potential of their bilateral cooperation and identified new promising areas for interaction. This included establishing a schedule for upcoming visits at the highest and high levels. The consultations concluded with an exchange of views on the most pressing issues on the regional and international agendas.
