Algerian ambassador concludes diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Algeria, Mohamed Irki, who is concluding his diplomatic mission in the country.
During the meeting, the foreign minister expressed sincere gratitude to the ambassador for his efforts to strengthen and expand bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Algeria. Bakhtiyor Saidov also wished the departing diplomat success in his future endeavors.
Mohamed Irki has headed the Algerian diplomatic mission in Tashkent since January 2024, when he formally presented copies of his credentials to Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry.
