The two leaders focused on key issues related to developing and strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Russia, building directly on agreements reached during previous top-level meetings. The sides noted with satisfaction the highly productive contacts maintained across various levels of government, pointing to the active growth in interparliamentary exchanges, business dialogues, and cultural-humanitarian ties.
Economic cooperation showed particularly strong momentum, with trade volumes between the two nations growing by 23% since the beginning of the year. This steady growth is supported by large-scale joint cooperation projects currently being implemented across critical sectors, including industry, energy, and transport, with significant participation from individual regions within both countries.
Concluding the call, the presidents reviewed the calendar and agenda for a series of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events scheduled to take place in the near future.
