Shavkat Mirziyoyev to pay official visit to Belarus
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Belarus on July 8–9 at the invitation of President Alexander Lukashenko.
According to the visit agenda, the two leaders will hold high-level talks in Minsk focused on further expanding the multifaceted partnership between Uzbekistan and Belarus.
The discussions are expected to center on increasing bilateral trade and strengthening cooperation in agriculture, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, the textile industry, the food sector, and other branches of the economy.
The two sides will also discuss expanding cultural and humanitarian exchanges. A substantial package of bilateral agreements covering priority areas of cooperation is expected to be signed following the summit.
Ahead of the official talks, Minsk will host the third Uzbekistan–Belarus Interregional Forum, bringing together delegations from the two countries' regions as well as representatives of the business community.
