Dollar falls to UZS 11,857, lowest official rate in nearly three years

The Central Bank set new foreign exchange rates against the UZS effective from August 18.

The dollar rate fell by UZS 33.83 to UZS 11,857.35, marking its lowest level since August 2023.

The last time the official dollar rate was below this level was on August 8, 2023, when it stood at UZS 11,675.01. It has not fallen below UZS 11,857 since then.

At commercial banks, dollar buying rates range from UZS 11,800 to UZS 11,885, while selling rates range from UZS 11,400 to UZS 11,900.
