Four round-trip flights are scheduled on the Tashkent–Mauritius route in late December and January, with weekly service expected to commence from June 2027, according to the committee.
The route aims to position Tashkent as a transit hub for travelers from Kazakhstan, Russia and other Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries heading to the Indian Ocean island nation, the statement said.
‘The air connection is being launched as part of the “Open Tourist Season” program, implemented annually from June to August starting in 2026. The program provides financial support measures for tourism market participants,’ the message reads.
