The complaints concerned flight delays of several hours, delays in giving passengers accurate information, poor-quality services and charges for services that airlines did not actually provide.
The committee found that, in some cases where airlines caused delays, passengers were not offered compensation or alternative arrangements, leaving them to bear additional costs and disruptions to their plans.
The review covers publicly available information on cases where carriers compensated passengers for domestic flight delays they caused, as well as airlines’ compliance with consumer rights.
The committee has urged airlines to provide complete information on their digital platforms in line with the law and called on citizens to submit suggestions and comments on issues affecting air travel.
