According to NMMC, the accident occurred at around 3 p.m. at a tire storage area operated by the first transport shop in Pistali, part of the Automobile Transport Department of the Kyzylkum Mining Administration, during tire-fitting work on the trailer of a pipe truck.

Law enforcement agencies are conducting a pre-investigation inquiry, and state supervisory bodies are carrying out a separate investigation into the circumstances and causes of the accident, NMMC said.

The company said its relevant departments are taking the necessary steps to prevent similar accidents.

NMMC expressed its deep condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased.
