The US delegation is accompanied by Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, and Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov.
Marco Rubio arrived in Uzbekistan on October 18, accompanied by a delegation that includes more than 100 representatives of American companies.
The main purpose of the visit is to attend a meeting of foreign ministers from Central Asia and the United States in the C5+1 format, to be held in Samarkand. The discussions will focus on trade, private investment and energy security.
