The meeting was attended by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. More than 100 companies were represented at the event, where participants discussed investment opportunities, business development and the implementation of joint projects.
She noted that the establishment of the council had opened up new opportunities to expand the partnership between the two countries and thanked the Uzbek president for the trust placed in her.
Mirziyoyeva also expressed gratitude to Rubio, his wife Jeanette and Sergio Gor for supporting the initiative, their attention to Uzbekistan and their willingness to expand bilateral cooperation.
She stressed that the priority now was to turn the agreements reached into tangible results.
“Our main task now is to turn these agreements into concrete practical results – investment, modern enterprises and new jobs. That is precisely what we aim to achieve by developing cooperation with the United States,” she said.
